Structure of the High-Pressure Ball Valve
To meet the requirements of high-pressure working conditions, a large-diameter fixed ball valve (Figure 3) is designed. For ease of assembly, the valve body adopts a three-piece structure. A positioning bushing is added externally to the upper valve stem, allowing the medium thrust to be borne by the positioning bushing, while the upper valve stem only withstands torsional stress.Ball Valve TechnologyThe main Ball valve product names of China Ball valve Network include:Sanitary Sleeve Ball Valve,Inner Thread,Single-plate Ball Valve,Single-plate Hexagonal Ball Valve (U.S.),T-type, L-type Three-way Inner Thread Ball Valve
There is no friction between the upper valve stem and the positioning bushing. The upper valve stem is also equipped with an anti-blowout step, and the positioning bushing prevents the upper valve stem from being ejected due to excessive medium pressure. A sliding bearing is installed between the ball and the positioning bushing to reduce friction. The sliding bearing uses a steel plate as the base material, with a sintered lead-tin bronze alloy surface. Its thickness is 2.5 mm, and the maximum operating temperature can reach 280 °C. O-rings are used for sealing both between the positioning bushing and the valve body, and between the upper valve stem and the positioning bushing. The sealing between the ball and the valve seat sealing ring adopts the general fixed ball valve sealing structure, i.e., upstream sealing or downstream sealing. The valve seat material is nylon or copper alloy, selected based on the medium pressure and the allowable specific pressure of the material.Ball Valve Suppliers

A positioning bushing is provided at the upper valve stem of the high-pressure ball valve. Since the positioning bushing bears the medium thrust, the sealing performance at the upper valve stem is improved, and the torque borne by the upper valve stem is significantly reduced. It also prevents the valve stem from being ejected due to excessive medium pressure. This valve is suitable for operating conditions with temperatures below 280 °C, pressures of Class 1500 (25 MPa) and above, and nominal diameters of 200 mm and above.
