Brass ball valve
A brass ball valve is made of forged brass and consists of rings and a ball with a handle which can be moved mechanically to control the flow in the pipe. Both ends are of the same size and are compatible with PEX pipes and can be attached in crimp style or clamp style. Pipes can be soldered or threaded too.
Different types of ball valves can be found depending on the type of attachment it has with pipes. They can be threaded or sweat type which can be soldered. They come in full port design with a packing nut and a Teflon seat to with stand wear and tear for longer period. The real test of a product depends on the longevity, quality and performance. As far as performance goes the brass ball valve is solid and does not allow even moisture to pass through. It is absolutely impermeable. The device is operable manually it has a steel handle with the help of which one can shut or open the valve when the need arises. The handle has to be turned by a quarter to do the needful. The stem of the valve comes with a blow proof stem.
