Oil leaking out of ball valve.Is it because the oil pressure is too high, so this ball valve releases the excess pressure?Don’t think it’s a pressure bleed. Maybe the ball blocks/seals the end of an oil passage …?That is neither a ball valve nor a ball. It is a galley plug.

Based on the photo and the location of this leak, that appears to be your power steering pump. (next to the alternator, and the line into the pump appears to be your issue)

It would seem you have a leak in the hoses/line/attaching gasket. Be sure to check your power steering pump fluid level. You may just need to tighten down the gasket.
